SUBJECT: TERRORIST ATTACK ON ISRAEL ON 7 OCTOBER 2023

TUESDAY 17 OCTOBER 2023.   ISSUED BY ADV. JURG PRINSLOO SC, LEADER, AFRIKANER SELF-DETERMINATION PARTY

SUBJECT: TERRORIST ATTACK ON ISRAEL ON 7 OCTOBER 2023

The leader of the Afrikaner Self-determination Party, advocate Jurg Prinsloo SC, today unreservedly condemned the invasion of the state of Israel and the terrorist attacks on ordinary civilians in its borders by the organization HAMAS on Saturday 7 October 2023.

“This reminds South Africans of the type of terrorism perpetrated by the African National Congress (“ANC”) against civilians in South Africa in the 1970’s and 1980’s”, he said.

“Attacking hundreds of black South Africans in their homes, dragging them into the streets, then beating and stoning them while burning them to death with the so-called “necklace”, and installing explosive devices in public places to kill people indiscriminately were some of the terrorist methods of the ANC in those years.

The ANC was never properly called to account for those atrocities. On the contrary, certain communist as well as so-called democratic governments supported that terror campaign. And  more recently, the ANC government announced that a major street in Johannesburg would be re-named after Winnie Mandela, the most prominent proponent of the atrocious “necklace” murders” he said.

“Also, South African president Ramaphosa told United States President Trump that no white farmers were being killed in South Africa, while thousands of white farmers have been killed in the country since the ANC took over the South African government in 1994, and that slaughter continues to this day” he said.

“Mr Ramaphosa’s recent public reaction to the 7 October 2023 massacre in Israel should in my view be seen against that background” he said.

“This invasion of, and deliberate mass murder of civilians in, Israel on 7 October 2023 is a despicable contravention of International Law” he concluded.
