SUBJECT: PRESIDENT TRUMP’S OFFER TO AFRIKANERS.
The Afrikaner Self-Determination Party is grateful for the exceptionally friendly offer of President Trump of the USA to grant refugee status to Afrikaners if they flee to the USA as a result of the severe discrimination of the South African government against them.
As a result of our race and culture, we as Afrikaners are being discriminated against in our fatherland every day by the ANC-controlled so-called Government of National Unity. Hundreds of thousands of white South Africans have already emigrated from South Africa as a result of this discrimination.
As the Afrikaner Self-Determination Party we invoke the right to self-determination of peoples which is recognised in International Law, and declare that we are irrevocably committed to attaining our people’s self-determination in our own people’s state under our own Afrikaner government.
We believe that God ordained that we, as a distinctive people, originated here on the southern tip of Africa.
Our history shows that our people always strived for peace and good relations with all the other indigenous peoples with whom they came into contact.
Our history also shows that our people lawfully obtained ownership and other real rights in land in the largest part of the territory of the Republic of South Africa.
Our history further shows that our people have already been suffering for centuries under efforts of our enemies to dispossess us of our people’s rights in land.
Our history also shows that our living, loving God protects us and gives us victory over mighty enemies when we humble ourselves before Him and pray for His Divine intervention. We firmly believe that He, our Leader and Saviour, will never forsake us.
In instances where certain Afrikaner politicians and their collaborators violated the rights of other South African indigenous peoples, it never happened with the knowledge and consent of the majority Afrikaner voters. Some of those Afrikaner politicians and their collaborators were welcomed warmly in the ANC after 27 April 1994. Our conscience is therefore clean when we insist on being understood and respected for our people’s pursuit of self-determination.
The Afrikaner people is entitled to the right to self-determination here in South Africa where God ordained us to be. This right is recognized in International Law. As a people we have consistently strived for self-determination and made great sacrifices in doing so.
The most suitable constitutional model by means of which our people can exercise its right to self-determination is in our opinion a sovereign Republican Afrikaner people’s state which can be partitioned out of the territory of the current Republic of South Africa on the basis of our people’s justified claims thereto.
For the recognition of our self-determination in such an Afrikaner people’s state we need the support of strong democratic states such as the United States of America. We trust that the Republican government of President Trump will come to our aid also in that respect.
