Mediaverklaring: Pretoria – 25 September 2020.

Subject : Heritage Day 24 September 2020.
The frantic efforts of Mr Cyril Ramaphosa to gain the support of the most radical people in the ANC get increasingly laughable.
This appears amongst other things from hos official speech on Heritage day 24 September in which he attempts to hide his communist government’s scandals behind misrepresentations about the history and his promise to remove all “monuments and statues which glorify the country’s divided past” and to erect new statues and monuments.
He clearly is not interested to hide the fact to the world that he does not seek reconciliation with the light-skinned people of South Africa. He abuses important commemoration days like Reconciliation Day and now Heritage Day to whip up bad feelings against light-skinned people. And in this process he does not hesitate to create wrong impressions.
He pretends that the history before his party came to power was one of “prejudice and exclusion”.
He does not mention the fact that the light-skinned governments of South Africa legally partitioned the historical homeland areas of the ten main indigenous dark-skinned nations out of the territory of the greater South Africa and exclusively reserved them for each of those nations to become absolutely free and to develop to their full potential as a nation.
He also does not mention that the light-skinned South African taxpayers annually paid billions of rand from the South African budget to install essential state institutions in those nation states, like schools, universities, hospitals, courts, roads, airports, factories, sport- and culture centers. He also does not mention that millions of dark-skinned South Africans and foreigners at all relevant times also worked in “white” South Africa.
He repeats the allegation that his government wants to build a united, non-racial nation. This is contradicted by his well-known misrepresentations about farm murders on light-skinned farmers and the intentions with which the Voortrekkers entered Natal in 1838,
the reason why the Battle of Blood River occurred on 16 December that year, his incitement against light-skinned South Africans in respect of their possession of land, his pronounced intention to expropriate light-skinned people’s land without compensation and his government’s
continuing racial discrimination against the light-skinned minority in South Africa under the guise of so-called affirmative action and “black economic empowerment”.
Mr Ramaphosa does not bluff anybody anymore. His government wants to remove the statues and monuments which can remind the population of the country’s success story before the communist ANC take-over in 1994.
The dilapidated state infrastructure everywhere, the bankruptcy of state owned enterprises and the state itself, record unemployment, rampant corruption and general collapse of law and order in the country are his government’s monuments.
